A conservation and outdoor industry leader with more than a decade of experience guiding, operating, and managing programs in some of North America’s most iconic public lands, including Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks in Wyoming and remote wilderness areas in Alaska. John currently sits on Teton County’s Travel and Tourism Board.  His work sits at the intersection of sustainable tourism, outdoor education, and conservation, with a focus on connecting people to place in ways that directly inspire the protection of wild landscapes.

He currently works for Jackson Hole EcoTour Adventures and has assisted with the development and growth of WYldlife for Tomorrow since 2024, supporting fundraising, building partnerships, and focusing on program expansion.

John holds a Master’s in Tourism Management focused on sustainable development and an accompanying graduate certificate in Environmental Education. His career stems from a lifelong personal passion for the outdoors, and he is eager to help create a tourism model in Wyoming that contributes directly to the long-term health of the wildlife and wild places that are essential to our way of life.
